Faith for Living is a multi-faceted church with a myriad of ministries and outreaches. In addition to Sunday worship, neighborhood care groups meet weekly in order to strengthen our daily walk and foster a sense of family within the church. The church also sponsors missionaries around the world and aims to save the lost through personal evangelism.


Sunday school and nursery

Children are always welcome to worship with the congregation. An additional resource for parents is the nursery and Sunday school. There are songs, games, toys, and snacks providing a lively and fun environment for the children. Sitters during 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM are available.

The spiritual experiences during the preschool years form a foundation of faith and equips a child when they are older, to make a personal commitment to Christ.

We take our responsibility toward preschoolers and your children seriously. Jesus said, “whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name, welcomes me.”Matthew 18:5.

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry is a collection of teenagers (7th-12th grade). It is our desire to create a relevant environment where students can be accepted for who they are, lead to a deeper relationship with Christ, and sent out to their schools and neighborhoods to live out their faith.

Young Adults

Young adult fellowship of Faith for Living Christian Church comprised of working people and graduate students in their 20's and 30's, both single and married. Currently , we have three groups that meet during the week, Springfield, Fort Washington, and Fairfax city.

Seniors group

Young at heart is what describes our seniors goup. They meet after service to talk about the sermon and to fellowship. Their meeting is great source of strength, encouragement for those 55 and over.

Care groups

Here at at Faith For Living, we desire to see everyone who calls FFL their church home connected to a care group- bible study. Care group- bible study at FFL are the perfect place to connect with others and grow in your relationship with Christ at the same time. Most groups meet weekly in homes throughout the wasthington metropolitan area. Currently, we have seven bible study groups. Please contact us for the location nearest you.

Praise and Worship

Our Praise and Worship Ministry is a multi-faceted ministry where people of all ages and abilities are able to develop and grow in their spiritual journey with Christ through music. There are wonderful opportunities for spiritual, musical growth for all ages. No matter the level of ability, there is a place for you! We invite you to discover the exciting joy of serving God through our ministry.
