We believe that Christian leadership is ultimately expressed through the life and words of Jesus. Philippians 2 states that Jesus came to this word to demonstrate the character of God. In so doing, He demonstrated the highest form of leadership; the leadership provided by a servant, a bond-servant, one who presents himself to servitude. “It must not be this way among you! Instead, whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many,” (Matthew 20:26-28). We are honored to serve this congregation. We strive to support and encourage others, serving them with divine provision and dignity.
